Ooo, I should totally reread Her Fearful Symmetry! I haven't read it since it came out, and I have newly acquired a copy of it at a book sale. (And you should read it too because it's weird and good.)

oh, now I can't wait to read this one. You bought it even after you've read it? I got mine at a book sale as well. Weird and good, perfect RIP.
I forgot all about The Forgotten Garden!! Happy reading.

I think she's even got a new book out, I'm falling behind on her books.
Hmm, blood, death, savage and revenge--I love all these scary titles everyone is listing! Have fun with yours!

Even the titles are scary!
Oh, I have Undone on my shelf, was wondering if I could get to it this year. Cath and Read-Warbler has been reading this series and loving it. Blood Safari sounds interesting - I just finished Devil's Peak and really enjoyed it. Good list, Raider! and yes, I just saw the new Indridason was coming out, too. I have to post about the previous two which I read earlier this year. Enjoy the challenge and I hope you find some books that delight and chill you in them!

I just looked up the Indridason on Chapters - Erlunder is back, or rather, still out on the land. Can't wait!
Devil's Peak was a good start to Bennie, but the later books are even better! Thirteen Hours, Seven Days - each better than the last. Love Bennie!
Enjoy your books - I'm sure you'll read a few good ones. I just requested Nemesis by Nesbo from the library, even though it's not on my list. It is now!
Yay!! I love Jacqueline Winspear. I look forward to a new book by her every year. :) I hope you enjoy your other possibilities as well!

I'm trying to get a good run on Maisie this year. I've got my 2 done so far, and another lines up. I listened to the last one, and enjoyed that a lot.
You've got some books here that I want to read as well. I've been meaning to start the Maisie Dobbs series (and this would be a perfect reason to). And I've been wanting to read The Forgotten Garden for awhile now. Good luck with this challenge and I hope you enjoy all of your reads :)

thanks for stopping by Samantha. Maisie are different from mysteries in some ways, with lots of WW1, even though it is ten years later. Great England atmosphere.
I have GOT to get around to trying out Kate Morton's work at some point.

I'll be interested to see what you think of Her Fearful Symmetry.

Thanks for taking part in RIP again this year. Looking forward to it myself maybe more than ever. I'm so in the mood for Autumn.

Thanks for hosting Carl.
I'm well into things already, listening to Mr Churchill's Secretary, and reading The Savage Garden (for my book club) and Death Angels, a scandi-crime that is starting off really good.

I forgot to mention Peril the (small) Screen, as the final shows of Breaking Bad definitely qualify for RIP!
Glad to see you are joining - hope you have fun this spooky season reading a lot of horror and gothic themed books.
I was quite taken with Her Fearful Symmetry. Audrey always has a way of turning one's point of view upside down, and I actually like the mind games she plays with her writing.
